Kid iBankers in the Making

The investment banker and medal-winning Math Olympiad member of HK team, Mr. Tommy Wong, will be leading Mochy Kid’s training camp and guiding children into ibankers’ high performance thinking.

 

HONG KONG – Feb 14, 2018 – Celebrating its’s 5th birthday, Mochy Kid has invited Mr. Tommy Wong, a medal-winning Hong Kong team member of Math Olympiad, a qualified Mensa (international high IQ society) member and an investment banker, to lead its ‘Wall Street iBanker in the Making’ Training Camp for kids aged 8-12. The camp aims to develop students’ IQ, agility of mind, logical analysis and numerical aptitude. From $1,900 for a 5-hr camp, beginner level runs throughout March on Tuesdays and Saturdays in Wong Chuk Hang.

Topics that the camp covers include Mensa-inspired training, rubik's cube solving and speed math drill. Tommy incorporates logic tricks, math techniques, and his love for brain teasers into cooperative games, where children will move and groove in class.

“Tommy’s mathematical and logical skills are extremely impressive, he has all these tricks in his head that makes difficult things seem easy,” said Natalie Lau, co-founder and CEO of Mochy Kid Limited. “I would secretly describe Tommy as a math freak, he is obsessed with math. He plays the 24 Game with all car plates that pass by him.”

Coding courses with BBC Mirco:bit are in the pipeline, details will be released in March. Moreover, to support the coding movement, Mochy Kid will be sponsoring STEM kits to the winners of First Code Academy’s AppJamming Summit 2018, which will be held in late March.
