To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of the HKSAR, the Hong Kong Science Museum is currently presenting an unrivalled dinosaur exhibition, “The Big Eight – Dinosaur Revelation”. It showcases eight of the most iconic fossil skeletons from the “Golden Age of Dinosaurs”, including Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, and Spinosaurus. The specimens are scarce and have a high level of completeness. The exhibition introduces the latest scientific discoveries in palaeontology with novel curating strategies. While marvelling at the world-class fossils, parents can lead children to reflect on challenges threatening our contemporary world: global warming, extreme weather events and biodiversity loss, and how to take appropriate action to help conserve our biodiversity and live sustainably.
